Early Morning Sickness
5 Best Treatment Tips

If you are pregnant and suffering from early morning sickness, then I want to contribute with some knowledge right here.

After speaking to a few professionals about this syndrome, as well talking to a few friends that suffered in the past, I decided to write a post about it.

So as you all know, morning sickness can be anything from a slight discomfort to an intense feeling of having to vomit. So yes, it can be very unpleasant, but is very unlikely to have any long-term effects.

Still, my purpose now is to ease your pain as fast as possible. So start by taking a look at my 5 tips for how to end early morning sickness.

1. Be Slow

When you wake up in the morning, just make sure to take it very easy and slowly. There's no need to rush out of bed. Keep lying for a while to make sure you're feeling alright, and then take it step by step to get up.

The thing is that a few hours before you normally wake up, all of your body's systems prepare to get going again. However, when you are pregnant, your body might not have had enough time to be up to speed once you open your eyes. Therefore, don't be hasty. Let your body get used to being awake and take it slowly from there.

Do the same after eating as well. Your body has a lot to process so be gentle right after lunch and dinner.

2. Drink, Drink, Drink

I mean water of course :-) Drinking enough is one the most common tasks that people in general fail to do. The effect will be headaches, tiredness, focus-issues etc. So you can imagine how much more important it is when you are pregnant?

Of course, you might not feel like drinking a bunch of water each day (recommended is 8 cups). Then try to flavor your water and try different temperatures.

All drinks contain mostly water anyway so as long as it's not bad for you or your child, then go for some other drink instead.

Here is also a great site if you want to find out even more about the importance of water.

3. Keep Your Mind Busy

The same applies here as with any other pain or disturbance that you might have - try to focus elsewhere. So if you're feeling slightly bad, don't go around thinking about constantly. Instead, do something which you can put focus on completely.

Some great examples would be

  • Write a blog post
  • Do a crossword puzzle
  • Read a great book
  • Etc. etc.

At the same time, don't ignore your body. So if you notice that it's getting worse and worse then do take immediate action by resting or using the other tips here.

4. Keep Your Body Busy

Just as above, the keyword here is to keep busy. Of course you can't do too much with your body, but research shows that it can give beneficial results against your early morning sickness to perform some easy exercise such as pregnancy yoga or going for a walk.

5. End Your Morning Sickness Completely

If you truly want to end your morning sickness today, then your only alternative is to get real professional assistance. And there are some fantastic programs available out there that has helped thousands of women!

One of my friends spoke so thankfully about one of them. Unfortunately I can't remember their website at this moment, but I'll put it up here as soon as I can. Promise!

As you can see, the only true miracle worker of the above tips is to get the full arsenal of how to end early morning sickness through a real program. What I can contribute with besides that is just  to list the top 5 tips that have been proven to have positive effects on other women.

Give them all a shot and you will hopefully see improvements at least. I wish you the best of luck!
